During the light summer nights a woman finds herself alone in the city. She tries to get in contact with others over her phone and get out of her trapped boredom.

Jana Bringlöv Ekspong is a director and actress living and working in Umeå, Sweden. She wrote the script and played the part as Mikaela in the Teddy Award winning short film Undress me (2013) and this is her third short as a director.

"Before "Nights and Days in July" I felt I needed to start over with my filmmaking practice and teach me everything that I find difficult. How a camera works, how one cuts. The goal was to just make my own mistakes and learn from them."

The film is produced by Lars Samuel Olsson at JAQ Studios in association with Film i Västerbotten and Lampray AB.
