A divorced father decides to lock himself and his daughter inside their apartment to avoid a virus spreading across the world.

Director Anna Brodin, born in 1990 in Umeå, Sweden. “The Penguin Dad” is her third short film as director and scriptwriter. Anna likes to discuss subjects such as gender equality and power structures with this film and future projects. She is also working pedagogically with the Lynx Studios organisation, holding workshops to get more young girls interested in filmmaking.
The film is produced by Lampray AB with support from Film I Västerbotten and The Swedish Arts Grants Committee.
